The Connect Group AG is a European technology company and provider of electronics manufacturing services based in Kampenhout , Belgium. There are branches in Frickenhausen (Baden-Württemberg) and Veldhoven (Netherlands). Production takes place predominantly in the plants in Oradea , Romania and Kladno , Czech Republic.
The company produces and develops assemblies , control cabinets , assembled circuit boards , cable harnesses and cables.
History of the company
The company was founded in 1987. The name was changed to a public limited company in 1992, and in 2000 it was listed on the Euronext Brussels exchange . The Frickenhausen and Veldhoven locations were also taken over in 2000. The Kladno plant opened in 2007 and the Oradea plant in 2008. A second plant was opened in Oradea in 2014 to increase manufacturing capacity.
