Constanze Fischbeck

Constanze Fischbeck (* 1968 in East Berlin ) is a German set designer , filmmaker and curator.

Life

Constanze Fischbeck grew up in East Berlin. Her father is the physicist and civil rights activist Hans-Jürgen Fischbeck , her older sister Susanne is a theologian. Constanze Fischbeck studied stage design at the Berlin-Weißensee School of Art from 1992 to 1997 . From 2009 to 2015 she developed the art project state-theater # 1-6 with Daniel Kötter , which has been presented many times internationally, including at the Venice Architecture Biennale . Since 2007 she has taught as a lecturer at various art schools. In 2019 she was appointed professor for scenography at the HfG Karlsruhe .
