Constanze Janda

Constanze Janda (* 1976 in Dessau as Constanze Abig ) is a German law scholar and professor at the German University of Administrative Sciences Speyer .

Life

Janda studied law at the University of Jena from 1994 until her first state examination in 2000 . She then studied as part of a postgraduate course at the Catholic University of Leuven , where she obtained the title of European Master in Social Security in 2001 . From 2000 to 2002 she was a research assistant at Eberhard Eichenhofer's chair in Jena . Under his supervision, Janda completed his doctorate in 2002 with a paper on health insurance law on Dr. iur. She then completed her legal clerkship at the Erfurt Regional Court , which she completed in 2004 with the second state examination in law. Subsequently she worked again as a research assistant at Eichenhofer's chair. In 2012 she completed her habilitation and received the Venia legendi for the subjects civil law, medical law, German and European social law.

After a substitute professor at the University of Hamburg in the 2012/13 winter semester , she was Professor of Social Law, European Labor Law and General Civil Law at the SRH University of Heidelberg from the 2013/14 winter semester to the 2016 summer semester . Since the 2016/17 winter semester, she has held the full professorship for social law and administrative science at the University of Speyer .
