Container Freight Station

Container Freight Station or container freight station ( CFS ) is the name for a device in which programs for a less-than-container-load summarized -Verschiffung or separated.

In the case of sea freight transports, smaller loads are often collected by the forwarding company in a container and then shipped as a whole to the destination area. The container freight station is responsible for loading and unloading the containers that are not completely filled ( full container load ) from the sender to the recipient.

Container freight stations are usually located on the premises of terminal operators or near large warehouses.
