The 2016 Cook Islands Round Cup was the 46th season of the Cook Islands' highest football competition for men. The season started on August 26, 2016 and ended on November 29, 2016.

The defending champion was Tupapa FC , which came second this year. Puaikura FC became the new champions .

Seven teams took part in the Cook Islands Round Cup this year. Each team played in the first half of the season against every other team and had one free play per round. A total of 14 game days were played.
