Puaikura FC (formerly Arorangi FC) is a soccer team from the Cook Islands and is based in Arorangi , on the island of Rarotonga . The club currently plays in the country's top division, the Cook Islands Round Cup . Under the name Arorangi FC, they won the championship title in 1985 and 1987 and in 1985 the Cook Islands Cup . In 2013 the team was renamed Puaikura FC after the club had already appeared under this name in 2004. In 2013 Puaikura won the league title for the first time in 26 years and qualified for the OFC Champions League 2014/15 . They reached second place there, but could not qualify for the finals.
In addition to a men's and a women's team, there are also U-14 youth teams for girls and boys, as well as a U-17 junior team.
