Copa Artigas (1965–1985)
The Copa Artigas was a football competition.
The cup was played between the national teams of Paraguay and Uruguay with the determination of the winner by means of a return match in the cities of Montevideo and Asunción . Between 1965 and 1985, this competition was held seven times. The Uruguayan team won the title six times, the Paraguayan one once , with the title being attributed to both teams in 1975. In 1968, no winner was determined because only one game was played that ended after 70 minutes with the game abandoned.
