Cindy Greiner
Cindy Greiner (actually Cynthia C. Greiner, née Suggs; born February 15, 1957 in San Diego ) is a former American heptathlete and long jumper .
In the heptathlon, she won silver at the Pan American Games in Caracas in 1983 and came fourth at the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles .
In 1987 she won the same discipline at the Pan American Games in Indianapolis and was twelfth at the World Athletics Championships in Rome . At the 1988 Olympic Games in Seoul, she came in eighth place.
In 1991 she was eleventh in the long jump at the World Indoor Athletics Championships in Seville . At the World Cup in Tokyo she was tenth in the heptathlon and was eliminated in the long jump in qualification.
At the end of her career, she was ninth in the heptathlon at the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona.
In 1984 and 1990 she was US heptathlon champion.
