Cornelia Klisch

Cornelia Klisch (* 1972 in Erfurt ) is a German politician ( SPD ). In the state elections in Thuringia in 2019 , she received a mandate on her party's state list.

Life

After graduating from high school in Erfurt in 1991 and a year abroad, Cornelia Klisch studied medicine at the University of Jena until 1998 and received her doctorate. After her time as an assistant doctor, she established herself as a neurologist in Erfurt in 2006.

Party and politics

Klisch has been chairwoman of the SPD local association Erfurt-Süd since 2011 and has been a member of the state executive committee of her party since 2012, and has been deputy chairwoman since 2018. She has been a member of the Erfurt City Council since 2009.
