Cornickel

Cornickel was a measure of firewood in Prussia .

  • 1 cornickel = 3 feet high by 3 feet wide by 5 foot long loaf = 45 cubic feet
  • 1 eighth = 9 feet high by 8 feet wide by 5 feet long cock (in ordinary measure) = 360 cubic feet
  • 1 eighth = 4 quarters, 1 quarter = 2 cornickels
