description

The Corrie Hotel was built in the mid-19th century and expanded in 1899. The exact year of construction is not recorded. The building is located in the center of Corrie directly on the A841 coastal road . The Corrie House , which is also listed, is adjacent to the north . The two-story building has a converted attic. The masonry consists of sandstone roughly hewn into blocks , some of which is embossed . All parts of the building close with slate-covered roofs.

The entrance area is set up in a one-story porch on the south side. The facade is three axes wide. The two upper floors have dormer windows or skylights . On the left is a narrow one-story part of the building with twin windows and two hipped dormer windows . To the left of it is the extension from 1899 with a one-story porch with a flat roof , which hides the long-standing main entrance. This part of the building is located a little higher. With the exception of two simple windows on the ground floor and an ox-eye in the gable, the facade of the building section is windowless. Unlike the older building, the windows are not flanked . The east facade facing the lake is three axes wide and designed with lattice windows. On the right is another three-axis building section with a central door and dormers . The door has a simple fighter window .
