Corsair Components Inc. is a company founded in the USA in 1994 that has specialized in high-performance RAM (Corsair now also produces memory modules in the lower price segment under the product name ValueSelect). The memory modules are particularly popular with computer gamers, enthusiasts and overclockers, as they can be operated (reliably) beyond memory standards.

Corsair offers RAM with speeds at the upper limit of the respective spectrum. The modules of the XMS series were the first to have a heat sink on the chips - to enable the chips to be overclocked beyond the specifications of the chip manufacturer. With the ValueSelect range, Corsair is represented in the lower-priced standard storage segment. Other Corsair products include power supplies, fans, water cooling, housings, SSDs , USB sticks, keyboards, mice, headsets, RGB lighting and speakers.
