On September 1, 2017, the two chemical companies Dow Chemical and EI du Pont de Nemours and Company merged with the aim of merging the company into the three business areas of Agriculture (agrochemicals), Materials Science (plastics) and Specialty Products (specialty chemicals) and each as separate business units Spin-off company.
Corteva
The Corteva was created on June 3, 2019 as a spin-off of the Agriculture division of DowDuPont. Each DowDuPont shareholder received one Corteva share for every three shares held.
