Cosimapark
The Cosimapark is a settlement in Munich .
location
The settlement is located in the Englschalking district in the 13 Bogenhausen district . It extends east of Cosimastraße, from which it takes its name, and extends from Englschalkinger Straße in the south to Beckmesserstraße in the north.
history
The estate was built between 1963 and 1969 according to plans by the Ernst Barth architects. The client was the Münchner Grund GmbH & Co KG. In 1968 Ernst Barth received the honorary award for housing for one of the houses.
description
The Cosimapark has an area of about 340 m both in north-south direction and in east-west direction, its area is approx. 11 hectares. It is accessed by two streets.
In a green area with lawn, bushes and trees, 13 houses are arranged irregularly. Six of these are point high-rise buildings with up to 18 floors and surrounding balconies. Further residential complexes with at least 4 floors are designed in the form of atrium houses, i. H. built around a square courtyard. There are a total of around 1,600 residential units in Cosimapark, some of which are rented and some are condominiums.
Sculptures by the sculptors Alexander Fischer and Heinrich Kirchner are distributed in the green area .
