Cosolvent
In pharmacy, a cosolvent is a solvent that is added to a drug form in the manufacturing process in order to improve the solubility of a drug . The solubility of a drug in a solvent mixture is often better than the solubility in the two individual solvent components suggests. An example of a cosolvent is ethanol .
