Coto Makassar

Coto Makassar is a traditional dish of Indonesian cuisine from Makassar , the but also in many other regions in Indonesia is offered.

It consists of a broth with vegetables and beef pieces, in simpler restaurants with various offal and beef soup bones. Rice cakes are served with this, in South Sulawesi (the province in which Makassar is located) Burasa , in the rest of Indonesia Ketupat . The soup is also served with a bowl of roasted shallots and pieces of kaffir lime cut into cubes .
