Courtney Kathryn Goodson , called CoCo , (born June 19, 1990 in Ramona , California ) is a former American soccer player who was last under contract with Sky Blue FC in the National Women's Soccer League in the 2016 season.
Career
In summer 2012 she signed her first professional contract with the Dutch BeNe League club FC Twente Enschede . She left this prematurely to be at the beginning of the NWSL season in the Sky Blue FC franchise assigned to her. She made her league debut on April 14, 2013 against Western New York Flash , and she scored her only goal in the NWSL on April 27, 2013 in a 2-1 away win at Washington Spirit . Before the start of the 2015 season, she first announced her early retirement before returning to Sky Blue FC at her own request in June of the same year. After only four appearances in two seasons, she resigned from professional sport in October 2016.
