Petroglyphs at Cova da bruxa

Cova da Bruxa is the name of a rocky plateau not far from the city of Muros (Galicia) in the autonomous Spanish region of Galicia . The peculiarity of this plateau are prehistoric scratch drawings, so-called petroglyphs , which suggest a very early settlement of the region of the Rias Baixas , the northern Spanish fjord landscape on the Atlantic coast. The translation of Cova da Bruxa means witches cave . The Cova da Bruxa is signposted on the AC-400 road coming from Muros and running north and can be reached on foot via forest paths.
