Crescent (urban development)
A crescent [ ˈkrɛs (ə) nt ] is a crescent-shaped row of houses swinging back. This arrangement results in a generous urban design that encompasses the landscape. The name can be derived from English and means crescent or crescent moon .
This idea was consistently implemented in the 18th century, especially in Bath , England .
