Creu des Santuari de Gràcia
The Creu des Santuari de Gràcia is a listed cross in front of the sanctuary Santuari de Nostra Senyora de Gràcia on the Puig de Randa in the southern part of the Spanish Mediterranean island of Mallorca in the area of the municipality of Llucmajor .
The cross is located at the entrance to the sanctuary.
Design and history
It was probably created in the late 18th century as a replacement for a cross that had already stood here. The cross stands on an octagonal base that consists of four steps. The cross rises on a base with an octagonal shaft on which there is a helically decorated capital . The actual, almost Latin cross with inwardly curved ends rests on it . A narrow cross is carved out on the cross, each end of which is circular.
The Creu des Santuari de Gràcia reaches a total height of 3.17 meters. It is registered in the local monument register under number RI-51-0010311.
