The Puig de Randa is a 542 meter high mountain in the south of the Balearic island of Mallorca . Its distinctive shape is visible from afar and looks like a table mountain from afar . It rises suddenly from the plain between the places Algaida and Llucmajor . This isolated mountain, at the foot of which lies the small village of Randa, which belongs to the municipality of Algaida, rises steeply above the Mallorcan plain and can be seen from afar from all directions. Above all, the balloon-like radome on its top makes the Puig de Randa unmistakable.

The Randa mountain is not only visited for the view, but also for the three monasteries Santuari de Nostra Senyora de Gràcia , Ermita de Sant Honorat and Santuari de Nostra Senyora de Cura , which are located at different heights on this mountain. It is also called the "Holy Mountain" of Mallorca. After the Santuari de Lluc monastery , this is the second most important pilgrimage site on the island.

The mountain can be hiked or reached via the five-kilometer serpentine road from Randa. There is a large parking lot in front of the entrance gate from 1682. From the summit there is a view over the island to the northwest to the Tramuntana mountains , to the north to the Bay of Alcúdia , to the east over the Calas on the east coast and to the south from the bay of Palma to the island of Cabrera, off Mallorca .
