Cricko

Cricko is an Australian batball game invented in 1940 by J. Turner and P. Mullins . The game is a “retort product” created especially for women's teams from various elements of cricket and Australian vigoro . Cricko, never known outside Australia, peaked in popularity between the late 1940s and early 1960s. Today it is only played in the state of Queensland , where there is also an umbrella organization, the Queensland Womens Cricko Association .
