Cross training

As cross-training (also: cross-training) in the field of sport is defined as the simultaneous training in different sports that will complement each other with regard to a particular objective. A common goal in cross training is to strengthen as many muscle groups as possible evenly (for example by combining the sports of rowing and jogging ) or to improve the properties of endurance and maximum strength evenly. Other objectives are to increase performance in a specific sport or to motivate a competitive athlete when completing a training plan.

Cross training in martial arts
