Cryptograph ( German  "secret writer" ) from ancient Greek κρυπτός kryptós , German 'hidden' , 'secret' and γράφειν gráphein , German 'write' can mean:

  • Encryption device by Charles Wheatstone (1802–1875) from 1867
  • Swedish stock corporation (AB) founded in 1915 for the manufacture of cipher machines with the same designation and a forerunner of Crypto AG
  • Model name of an Italian cipher machine from the late 1950s, see OMI (machine)
