Csaba Csuzdi

Csaba Csuzdi , born January 5, 1959, is a Hungarian zoologist. He was scientific advisor to the working group Systematic Zoology of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences and honorary professor at the Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest as well as a museologist in the department of zoology at the Hungarian Natural Science Museum .

life and work

Csaba Csuzdi studied biology at the Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest , where he did his Master of Science and later received his doctorate . The main field of work of Csuzdi is the taxonomy and systematic zoology, where he mainly focuses on the systematics of the little bristle (Oligochaeta). He also works on the ecology and biogeography of the oligochaetes. According to his own information, he published more than 100 scientific papers and described a total of about 125 new species and 16 genera of oligochaetes.

Csuzdi Managing is co-editor of Acta Zoologica Hungarica and Opuscula Zoologica and a member of the editorial board of African Invertebrates magazine .
