Cuareim is a town in northern Uruguay .
geography
It is located in the northwestern part of the Artigas department in its 7th sector east of Bella Unión on the banks of the Río Cuareim . Las Piedras and Portones de Hierro y Campodónico border to the south, Franquia to the northwest .
Infrastructure
The Ruta 3 passes the place. The international bridge over the Río Cuareim is also located here .

Cuareim has 710 inhabitants, of which 372 are men and 338 women (as of 2011).
