The culacula is about 100 cm long, consists of one piece and has a flattened head, the edges of which are thin and sharp. The shape of the culacula resembles a boat paddle . There are several versions; including some that do not have a flattened, but an angular, stepped edge. The culacula is used by ethnic groups in the Fiji Islands as a weapon and cultural object.
