The Cyta Shoppingwelt is a shopping center belonging to the municipality of Völs . It is located directly on the city limits of Innsbruck , west of Innsbruck Kranebitten Airport . history

The Cyta shopping center opened on September 23, 1993. In 1995 Hypo Tirol Bank AG took over the shopping world. In the years that followed, the center and its transport connections were constantly being expanded, and the transport connections in particular were constantly being improved. According to the company, around € 2 million are invested annually. On August 23, 2005, a flood disaster hit the Cyta hard. The Rutter Immobilien Group has owned the CYTA shopping center and the NORD retail park since 2016.
