takeover

The company D + S Fleisch was sold to Danish Crown GmbH in 2010 and has been run as the "Danish Crown Germany" sales company since then. "Fleisch Krone Feinkost GmbH", which originally belonged to the company and produces convenience food , was not part of the takeover, but will be continued by the previous owners. At the beginning of 2011, the EU Commission announced that it had no objections to the planned takeover.

criticism

The former management was prosecuted for allegedly untenable conditions, especially in the course of the discussion about EU workers at the time. The journalist Adrian Peter reports about this in his book Die Fleischmafia .

In November 2015, Report Mainz reported ongoing grievances by a Polish subcontractor with regard to the Working Hours Act (prohibited double shifts) and desolate residential accommodation. Report Mainz also reported that the company will part with this company from 2016.
