Dönberger water tower

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Dönberger water tower was a water tower in today's Wuppertal district of Dönberg , which in the first half of the 20th century still belonged to the city of Hardenberg-Neviges .

The water tower was probably built in 1911 and was located near the Höhenstraße at the confluence with Am Eickhof / Woltersberg . It was a spherical container of the Klönne type on a steel stand. The water is said to have been pumped to the tower by a brook near Unterrohleder . The structure was laid down at the end of the 1930s, so far only two images of the tower are known.
