The list of the tallest structures in Wuppertal contains structures of all categories that are, were or are planned in the city of Wuppertal .

Wuppertal has only a few high-rise buildings. The skyline of the city center of Elberfeld is characterized by the striking skyscraper of the Stadtsparkasse , the glass panes of which are tinted blue. In addition, the Glanzstoff high-rise and the GEFA high-rise can be seen from afar in this valley . The tall justice tower on the island of Justice has since been torn down and replaced by a lower building. The Vorwerk apartment house , the tax office building and the high-rise apartment building on August-Mittelsten-Scheidt-Strasse are striking in the city center of Barmer . Residential complexes that arose in the 1960s and 1970s, such as Eckbusch, Elfenhang, Röttgen, Nützenberg or Tesche, arose on the outskirts of the city in the high areas.

On the heights there are also some water towers and two telecommunication towers, which are visible from afar. In order to maintain a view of the city, some observation towers were built by wealthy citizens of Elberfeld and Barmens at the turn of the century.
