Dúnchad mac Conaing
Dúnchad mac Conaing († 654 ) was King of the Irish-Scottish Empire Dalriada from 650 to 654 ; he was the successor of Ferchar I and ruled together with Conall II. Dúnchad fell in 654 in the battle of Ráith Ethairt against Talorcen mac Eanfrith , king of Bernicia . According to the Annals of Ulster and the Annals of Tigernach , Dúnachd was the grandson of Aidan of Dalriada .
