Drought hen

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Dürre Henne was a farm in the Ore Mountains belonging to the Alberoda manor near Aue , which owned extensive land and meadows as well as inn justice. The “Dürre Henne” inn developed into a popular excursion destination in the first half of the 20th century. From 1922 to 1930 the tourist association “Die Naturfreunde” leased some of the rooms in the inn and set up the “Dürre Henne” nature lovers' home there.

After the Second World War, the inn building was used as accommodation for miners and fell victim to the bismuth mining of object 09 in the 1950s . Today the “Dürre Henne” is reminiscent of a calcite passage in the Niederschlema-Alberoda-Hartenstein mine.
