history
DB Zeitarbeit was founded in 2001 as a subsidiary of DB Vermittlung in Berlin. The Berlin, Hanover and Munich offices were opened in the same year. In 2003, DB Zeitarbeit GmbH was spun off as a 100% subsidiary of Deutsche Bahn AG. Subsequently, DB Zeitarbeit has consistently established itself on the German labor market and in 2005 had more than 1,000 employees for the first time. The company now has 14 locations nationwide and employs more than 2,800 of its own temporary workers. In addition, DB Zeitarbeit organizes the deployment of more than 2000 external temporary workers in the DB Group. According to Lünendonk, DB Zeitarbeit ranks among the top employers among German personnel service providers.
Collective agreement
As a member of the Employers' and Business Association of Mobility and Transport Service Providers (Agv MoVe), DB Zeitarbeit applies a collective agreement TV MoVe in the field of temporary employment . The area-wide collective agreement for temporary employment agencies in the field of mobility and transport service providers clearly regulates general provisions, working hours and how they are recorded, task groups and collective wages, allowances, bonuses, etc.
