Enosi Kalathosfairisis Kavalas ( Greek Ένωση Καλαθοσφαίρισης Καβάλας , Basketball Union Kavalas' ) is a Greek basketball team from the Macedonian Kavala .
history
Up to the 2007/2008 season Kavala played in the fourth Greek league, the Gamma Ethniki (Γ΄ Εθνική) . In summer 2008, merged the club with panoramic, a club from Thessaloniki , who only a few weeks before promotion to the A1 Ethniki had done, and so took their place in the first Greek league.
In the 2012/13 season Kavala took part in the basket league as well as in the Balkan league . At the end of the season, the club was relegated to the A2 Ethniki after five years of membership in the first division . Although the club played first-class again in the 2015/16 season , mathematically it rose again on the penultimate matchday.
