The GDR best determination in women's football 1983 took place in 1983 in Schwedt / Oder . The games of the tournament took place on the sports field on Albert-Bartel-Straße.
After 1981 and 1982, the winner was the Turbine Potsdam team led by trainer Bernd Schröder for the third time in a row . The challenge cup was presented by the then DFV Vice President Dr. Gerhard Dylla presented. Andrea Funke (BSG Turbine Potsdam) was honored as the best player of the tournament .
