Herbert Tiemer

Herbert Gustav Tiemer ( Latvian Herberts Tīmers ) (born March 6, 1879 in Riga ; † October 24, 1938 in Berlin ) was a Latvian architect .

Tiemer worked as an architect of buildings in Riga. He was married to Elisabeth Waldhauer (1885–1971), who was also born in Riga . The son Werner Tiemer (1909–1970) emerged from the marriage.

On the house at Wallstraße 3 (Latvian Vaļņu iela 3) in Riga, which was built between 1912 and 1914, there has been a memorial plaque created by Jānis Strupulis since 2006 , reminding of Tiemer.
