DFG viewer
The DFG Viewer is a web service for browsers that is often used by archives to provide high-resolution digital copies on the website.
The developer and provider is the German Research Foundation .
The data formats METS / MODS and METS / TEI as well as the exchange interface OAI-PMH are used .
The viewer is offered the higher-resolution excerpts of the images in tile graphics .
In contrast to applications such as Zoomify , the DFG Viewer specifies the path to the entire image in the source text of the HTML files.
