Patricia Thielemann

Patricia Thielemann (born September 12, 1967 in Hamburg ) is a German yoga teacher, actress , author and entrepreneur .

Life

Patricia Thielemann was born and raised in Hamburg. She graduated from high school in Eppendorf . After training as an actress, she first went to Hollywood . She then completed several yoga trainings in America and India. So she sat in Mumbai with Dr. GB Sharma at the Kaivalyadhama Yogic Health Center. She also studied Pajna Yoga with Tias Little , which she still attends once or twice a year. She initially taught in Los Angeles for several years before finally returning to Germany. She teaches yoga in Berlin , where she has also practiced and lived yoga herself since the 1990s.

In 2004 Patricia Thielemann and her husband Brian Kapell started expanding their first yoga studio, which now has 50 employees. The imprint of the company spirit-yoga.de shows that she is also an entrepreneur there. There are now (as of 2018) three locations in the capital and a licensing company in Aachen.

Thielemann is the mother of two sons.

Wedel scandal

The hashtag #MeToo by social activist Tarana Burke has been used millions of times and was popularized by American actress Alyssa Milano in October 2017 to raise awareness of the extent of sexual harassment and sexual assault. Three months later, an article in Twilight shook the German film industry in which Jany Tempel and Patricia Thielemann accuse director Dieter Wedel of sexual harassment and / or coercion. German and international media (including the Tagesschau ) then reported on the allegations of several anonymous and named women. The editors of Zeit Magazin had their affidavits before the article was published. The director denies the allegations, also with an affidavit. Media lawyer Christian Schertz represents Tempel and Thielemann.
