The DHK Flensborg (Dansk Håndboldklub Flensborg eV; German: Danish handball club Flensburg) is a handball club from Flensburg . Since the 2008/2009 season, DHK Flensborg has been competing with 16 teams, nine of which are in the youth division. For the first time, two women's teams were also set up.

history

The association was founded on April 24, 1979 by Ernst Fischer, Merete Fischer, Christa Wohlenberg, Hermann Wohlenberg and Edvin Bergemann. On October 3, 1979 he was accepted into the state sports association and on May 10, 1980 in the Sydslesvigs danske Ungdomsforeninger (SdU) .

In 1982 the club hosted the DHK Cup, which has taken place annually since then, for the first time.

The club's successes include winning the SdU Cup in 1992, the promotion of the first men's team to the regional league in 1996 and in 2011 and 2015 to the third league . The men's team also won the DHB Amateur Cup in 2015 .
