DJ Ruffneck is the pseudonym of the Dutch disc jockey and music producer Patrick van Kerckhoven , who is also known under the names 80 Aum , Overmind , Undercover Anarchist , Wedlock , Juggernaut and D'Spyre . He was born in the city of Dordrecht .

Career

Since 1993 he has been mainly active as a DJ in the hardcore techno area. Van Kerckhoven gained fame in 1997 when his remix Ruffneck rules da artcore scene !!! reached eighth place in the Dutch Top 40 .

In the last few years it has become rather quiet around Van Kerckhoven. Since the "death" of the artcore scene, he took a back seat as a producer. However, many people still know him as the “hardcore king” and is responsible for the record label Cardiac Music bv and its sublabels.
He is also active as a producer, for example for artists such as D-Block & S-Te-Fan , Weapon-X or Nosferatu .
