DRK leadership group

The DRK management group is an internal management body within a district association of the German Red Cross .

The management group consists (according to K regulation IV A 6) of:

  • District standby leader,
  • District Association Doctor,
  • Head of Social Work,
  • Head of the Youth Red Cross,
  • District Managing Director,
  • other managers and specialists (if necessary), for example
    • the Red Cross Commissioner,
    • Specialist service representatives / advisors (see also civil protection service ),
    • Representatives of the section emergency services ,
    • Employees of the district office as support staff.

The management group only takes care of the internal procedures and processes, but usually not the external representation. The aim is to relieve the emergency services on site from administrative activities such as alerting or requesting emergency services.
