DSV youngest sailing license

The DSV youth sailing license is an internal sailing license issued by the German Sailing Association (DSV). The certificate is not official and therefore has no legal validity. However, it is a prerequisite for participating in DSV regattas . The certificate can be acquired up to the age of 14 with the consent of the legal representative.

  • Minimum age: 7 years of age
  • Maximum age for the exam: 14 years of age
  • Consent of the legal representative
  • German youth swimming badge in bronze
