The DZ Privatbank (Switzerland) AG (official spelling: DZ PRIVATBANK (Switzerland) AG ) is a Swiss bank with headquarters in Zurich . The bank, which focuses on private banking , is wholly owned by Luxembourg's DZ Privatbank and part of the German cooperative financial group.

As part of the cooperative financial group, within which the institute is “the competence center for private banking in the Swiss financial center”, the Swiss bank cooperates closely with the German Volks- and Raiffeisenbanken , the German Sparda- and PSD banks and other European cooperative banks .

The bank's target customers are wealthy private customers in the cooperative banking sector. The offer mainly comprises asset management and investment advice as well as related additional services. In the 2016 financial year , assets under management (AUM) amounted to CHF 7.8 billion.

history

DZ Privatbank (Switzerland) was founded in 1975 as a bank of European cooperatives (BEG) and was renamed DG Bank (Switzerland) in 1984 and a few years later as Cosba Private Banking . It has operated under its current name since the beginning of 2006.
