Da Leftutti (Der Leftutti) is a historical crook comedy in three acts by Peter Landstorfer .

The comedy is about an old family quarrel between two brothers over their brewery heritage and the associated brewery sources. - Actually, after the official succession, Lenz should have got the more lucrative brewery from his parents and the younger Öttl got the mill, but since Lenz was always the “leftutti” of the family, Öttl got the Müllerbräu.

Leftutti

As Leftutti (pronounced Läfdudde) were referred to earlier a servant, servants or henchmen. Today the term also describes a good-natured buffoon or idiot. Leftutti probably originated at the beginning of the 20th century when guest workers from Italy applied for a job with “Lavoro tutti” (“I take on any job”) in Bavaria .
