Dagger Island (from English dagger 'dagger' ) is an island off the Ingrid Christensen coast of the East Antarctic Princess Elisabeth Land . It belongs to the Rauer Islands and is located immediately south of Ostrov Strelka .
Australian scientists named them descriptively after their shape, which is reminiscent of a dagger .
