Daidalos (gem cutter)
Daidalos ( ancient Greek Δαίδαλος ) was a Greek gem cutter who worked in the 1st century BC. Was active.
Daidalos is only known from a signature on an intaglio in which the portrait of an unknown man was cut. The stone was in the Louis De Clercq collection and is now in the Cabinet des Médailles of the Bibliothèque nationale de France in Paris .
