Daily NK
The Daily NK is an Internet newspaper based in Seoul , South Korea . It was founded in December 2004 by Han Ki-hong. In addition to the website in Korean, it also has a presence in English, Chinese and Japanese. The internet newspaper mainly deals with North Korea and deals in particular with North Korean defectors and refugees who also write under pseudonyms and still maintain contacts with North Korea. There are 15 permanent employees (as of 2010). The Internet newspaper is financed by donations, for example from the National Endowment for Democracy Foundation of the US Congress .
