Dali Beer
The Dali Beer Co. Ltd. ( Chinese 大理 啤酒 有限公司 , Dali Pijiu Youxian Gongsi ) is a brewery in Dali . It was founded in 1988 and is now part of the Carlsberg Group. Dali beer is one of the most famous beer brands in the western Chinese province of Yunnan .
history
The Dali Beer Co. was established in 1988 as one of the 72 brewery projects within the 7th Five-Year Plan (1986–1990) by decision of the State Planning Commission of the Ministry of Light Industry. In 2003 it was completely transferred to a foreign-financed company and is now part of the Danish Carlsberg China Group.
The facilities were modernized in 2003 for 50 million CNY . While 100,000 hectoliters of beer were produced in the first year after it was founded, in 2010 it was more than 2 million hectoliters.
