Datta Dalvi

Datta Dalvi ( Marathi दत्ता दळवी Dattā Daḷavī ) is an Indian politician . He was the mayor of Mumbai (Bombay) until March 2007 .

Dalvi belongs to the Shiv Sena Hindu nationalist party . He had taken over the office of mayor on February 20, 2005 from Mahadeo Deole , after he had been elected for two years by the city parliament on February 18. In 2007, Shubha Raul succeeded him in office.
